Operation Easter Egg Rescue Returns April 4 with Family-Friendly Activities

ALBANY, Ga. — Dougherty County residents are invited to attend Operation Easter Egg Rescue on Friday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 615 Azalea Blvd., located off Radium Springs Road.

This free, family-friendly event will feature an exciting Easter egg hunt with more than 4,000 eggs hidden throughout the area. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.

In addition to the egg hunt, the event will include a variety of activities for all ages, including food vendors, music, trail rides and other entertainment.

Participants are encouraged to keep an eye out for a special glitter green egg, which can be redeemed for a free Easter basket.

Operation Easter Egg Rescue is a collaborative effort between the Dougherty County Police Department, Albany Technical College Police Department, Albany Recreation and Parks Department and Dougherty County Public Works.

The event aims to provide a safe, engaging and enjoyable experience for families while strengthening community partnerships.
