Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a career EMS system located in Albany, Georgia. Dougherty County EMS provides emergency medical service to a population of 85,790 citizens (2020 U.S. Census) in a 334 square mile area of Southwest Georgia. It is the sole 911 EMS provider for Dougherty County and is an Advanced Level EMS agency responding to over 24,000 EMS calls annually.
