What do you do if you suspect you have found a Clandestine Lab?

  • Leave everything as you have found it. Do not touch anything
  • Leave the area immediately
  • Call 911 and/or contact the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit Clandestine Enforcement Team
  • Do NOT turn on or off any lights, water, or electrical service
  • Stay up wind and at least 500 feet away
  • Seek First Aid if needed
  • Warn others around you
  • Do not smoke while waiting for help to arrive
  • Never touch, taste or smell anything associated with the lab

Chemical Watch List

  • Sudafed, Mini Thins, Ephedrine Pills
  • Matches
  • Iodine Tincture
  • Heet, Denatured Alcohol, Camp Fuel, Starting Fluid
  • Camera and/or Energizer Lithium Batteries
  • Anhydrous Ammonia/Fertilizers
  • MURIATIC, Sulfuric, and/or Hydroadic Acid
  • Liquid Fire

To report a Clandestine Lab or to contact a member of the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit call (229) 430-5150. If you feel it is an emergency then call 911 and ask them to contact one of the following personnel:
