CASA of Dougherty County Launches Foster Care Hygiene Product Drive
The drive will take place from August 1 through August 31, 2026, and aims to collect new hygiene and personal care items for children ages 0–18 in foster care.
Many children enter foster care with limited personal belongings. Access to basic hygiene products can make a meaningful difference in their comfort, confidence and daily routine during times of transition.
Community members are invited to donate new, unopened items, including:
-
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
-
Mouthwash
-
Shampoo and conditioner
-
Deodorant
-
Lotion and skincare products
-
Face wash and acne pads
-
Q-tips
-
Hair ties and brushes
-
African American hair care products
-
Feminine hygiene products (panty liners, pads and tampons)
-
Face cream and other age-appropriate essentials
Donations may be dropped off at:
