Dougherty County Attorney Alex Shalishali is recognizing five summer law clerks from Page Scrantom who have spent the summer gaining practical legal experience while assisting the firm's attorneys with legal research and writing.

As part of their internship, the law clerks have also had the opportunity to assist Attorney Shalishali with legal matters involving Dougherty County. Through this work, they have gained valuable insight into local government law and the important role attorneys play in serving the public.

The 2026 Page Scrantom Summer Law Clerks include:

  • Ricky Perez – Rising third-year law student (3L) at Georgia State University College of Law with an interest in government regulation.
  • Shaun Price, Jr. – Rising second-year law student (2L) at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Spring 2025 graduate of the University of Georgia.
  • Abigail Fissette – Rising second-year law student (2L) at Mercer University School of Law, a graduate of the University of Georgia, with an interest in labor and employment law.
  • Jacob Younts – Rising second-year law student (2L) at Mercer University School of Law.
  • Elijah Crawford – Rising 10th-grade homeschooled student participating in Page Scrantom's summer internship program.

The summer clerkship provides students with meaningful, hands-on experience in the legal profession while exposing them to a variety of practice areas, including matters involving local government. By working alongside experienced attorneys, the clerks develop practical skills in legal research, writing, and analysis that will help prepare them for future careers in law.
