Dougherty County Leadership Discuss Ongoing Community Priorities

Dougherty County leadership met with Brenda Williams, Senior Outreach Director for U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock’s office, to discuss ongoing community priorities and future investments.

Chairman Lorenzo Heard, County Administrator Deron King and Assistant County Administrator Barry Brooks shared updates on the County’s partnership with the Flint RiverQuarium as part of its master plan.

A key focus of Phase I includes improvements to the County-maintained splash pad and playground, which have served the community for more than 30 years and are due for upgrades.
