Public Notice

The Dougherty County Board of Registration and Elections will conduct a mandatory Statewide Risk-Limiting Audit of the votes cast in the November 4, 2025 Special Public Service Commissioner (PSC) Race beginning Thursday, November 13, 2025 beginning at 9:00 AM, The location will be the Government Center, 222 Pine Avenue, Albany, Georgia 31701, 2nd floor Suite 240.The audit will continue, if necessary, until 12 noon on Monday, November 17, 2025 for completion

The public and all interested parties are invited to attend. The audit shall be open for viewing to the public and press, but no person except the person(s) designated by the election superintendent or the superintendent’s authorized deputy shall touch any ballot or ballot container. The election superintendent may designate a viewing area from which members of the public may observe the audit for the purpose of good order and maintaining the integrity of the audit.
