Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit (ADDU) Search of East Albany Home Results in Four Arrests and Large Drug Seizure

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA – On January 21, 2021, investigators for the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit (ADDU) entered a home at 1593 Georgia Avenue after obtaining a search warrant, resulting in three individuals being taken into custody. Further search of the home yielded approximately 41 pounds of Marijuana, approximately 211.6 grams of Cocaine, 100.8 grams of Ecstasy, and several prescription pills. Additionally, $13,197.72 in cash and 23 guns, including rifles, shotguns, pistols, and handguns, were seized, one of which was discovered to be stolen.

The following personnel were interviewed and later transported to the Dougherty County Jail with applicable offenses:

James Crosby (58) - Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance (WID), Possession of a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Related Objects

Shia Stevenson (27) - Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking Ecstasy, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Schedule 2 Controlled Substance

Hartania Ramsay (19) - Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking Ecstasy, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance

The Albany/Dougherty Drug Unit is still investigating and anticipates making additional arrests.
