Dougherty County Police Department to hold press conference concerning the armed robbery suspect from the two robberies earlier in October

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GEORGIA - On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 10 a.m., Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD) will be holding a press conference at the Dougherty County Police Department Headquarters located at 2106 Habersham Road in Albany. The purpose of the press conference is to provide media and the community with an update on the armed robbery suspect from the two robberies that took place earlier in October on Newton Road and Sylvester Highway.
DCPD’s Investigative Division recently announced they had identified the vehicle the suspect was driving when the crimes were committed, which is a 2009-2012 grayish color Dodge Ram 1500 Classic Truck. The at-large suspect is believed to have been involved with both armed robberies. He has been profiled as six-foot tall and approximately 230 pounds, is considered to be armed and dangerous.
